At the NACB, we like to say we’re the most trusted credential in cannabis. We’ve made trust our currency because in today’s world of unlimited products, services and experiences, trust is what drives choices. Trust has become even more important than price for many consumers. In the young U.S. cannabis industry, trust still has to be earned.

How do you earn trust in cannabis? As always, actions speak louder than words. Here are some of the steps we’re taking to build trust in our credential:

  • We vet our members to be responsible, trustworthy and compliant. We’re the only association in U.S. cannabis to do so.

  • Our vetting process is rigorous.

  • Our members vote on, adopt and adhere to national standards in U.S. cannabis. NACB National Standards for Advertising and for Packaging & Labeling are in effect. Our Laboratory Testing & Product Integrity Standards are in review. Our Security Standard is in it's beginning stages.

We believe our reputation as the most trusted credential in cannabis is growing:

Our members experience favorable business considerations as a result of their NACB membership. When you choose NACB membership, you demonstrate you’re committed to operating at higher level.

Your potential customers, business partners and investors have hundreds - if not thousands - of options in the growing U.S. cannabis industry. Your NACB credential affirms they’ve made a smart decision when they engage with you.

The National Association of Cannabis Businesses is the first and only self-regulatory organization (SRO) in U.S. cannabis. Our members function as a self-governing community, focused on differentiating themselves to regulators, the public and others as the most legitimate, professional and trustworthy businesses in the industry.
